A full container train from China
What it is
A block train is a container train formed at the origin station and run through to destination on a single timetable path, without being broken up at marshalling yards. A typical consist carries about 50–60 forty-foot containers (100–120 TEU); the maximum length is set by the railways along the route.
Where from
We load at Chinese hubs — Chengdu, Xi'an, Chongqing, Yiwu — from Southeast Asia in transit via China, and from Europe subject to sanctions restrictions; in the opposite direction we carry Russian exports. We book both full trains and slots on a shared consist.
